Scotiabank acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Belltown in selling a 100% stake in a Texas solar + storage development project.
Belltown Power has sold a 150 MW AC solar + 100 MW AC storage development project located in ERCOT (the “Project”) to Diamond Generating Corporation. The Project is expected to begin construction in 2025 and is targeting COD in 2027.
Founded in early 2017, Belltown is a greenfield renewable development platform with a focus on solar and energy storage development, and has recently expanded its technology focus to include wind as well. The company specializes in ERCOT and PJM, and has recently expanded its development footprint across MISO, WECC, and SPP. Since inception, Belltown has transacted on over 9 GW of capacity to-date and has originated a further pipeline of over 8 GW of solar and energy storage projects at various stages of development.
