Finance Manager – Fixed Term Contract, Belltown Group

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a Finance Manager you will manage all financial aspects of two portfolios of renewable energy assets to ensure accurate, informative, and timely financial information is provided to managers and investors, enabling them to make informed decisions in relation to the assets. Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with asset managers to produce comprehensive operating budgets and updates to forecasts
- Posting month end journals and reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Preparing quarterly consolidated VAT returns
- Prepare monthly finance reports including variance analysis and cashflow projections
- Covenant reporting and ensuring compliance with finance document for multiple lenders
- Manage the year end audit process
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Liaise with tax advisors to ensure timely submission of tax returns and other required tax submissions.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The role is ideal for someone who is a team player with a can-do attitude, able to engage with non-finance colleagues and looking to further their career in finance. Belltown recruits for potential over experience. Applicants should be qualified ACCA, CIMA, (or equivalent), accountant. Applicants should also have experience extracting, manipulating, and presenting data in excel. Some experience working with renewable energy would be ideal but is not at all essential.
