UK Offices & CSR Manager
Molly has been with Belltown for 4 years and manages the UK offices and our corporate social responsibility. Molly oversees community liason, educational visits and the running of all our UK based offices. Molly previously spent 3 years working in events management and marketing, following her BA in Media and Cultural Studies.
I started at Belltown in London for a three-month finance internship in July 2018 after a year of travelling. I graduated with an Anthropology degree in 2017 and really was not sure what I was going to go into. I definitely wanted to go into a small business environment which was fast paced and, in an industry, which interested me. After my internship I was hired into the finance team of four, and two years later I have advanced significantly. I had no finance experience before starting, through the supportive environment at Belltown I am now progressing towards being a chartered management accountant. I get a lot of autonomy and authority in this job, even though I am junior in the team, and gives me great pride to have such responsibility.
In my first week at Belltown I was thrown into the social environment (with team archery!) and met the wider sociable team. I never felt like the ‘new person.’ Team socials are something that sets Belltown apart from other companies. The London and Bristol (and the US) get together often for a variety of team activities; from surfing to making gingerbread houses. We are a company of varied ages, but I find it easy to talk to everyone.
I feel Belltown care about their employee’s satisfaction and progression. I feel supported to achieve my potential.
I joined Belltown from a renewable consultancy in 2014 soon after the business was started. I was attracted by the vision of the founders and I was immediately utilised to manage the construction of the first project. I have since been a part of the growing Belltown team and overseen the construction of all the renewable assets within the portfolio. I am now part of the new Belltown development venture where I can utilise the knowledge gained from construction into new development opportunities.
Belltown remains an exciting, friendly and ambitious company which recognises the importance of treating it’s staff well. In addition, Belltown has allowed me to adjust my work hours to better manage my time around family commitments. I continue to be impressed with the achievements of the company in parallel with the great social environment generated by it’s staff.
I first joined Belltown as an investment and transaction intern in 2014 and was immediately taken by how friendly, welcoming and exceptional the folks at Belltown are. This made the decision to return to Belltown following a couple of years at a large consultancy an easy and instinctive decision and since then I haven’t looked back. I initially joined full time as an Associate working with the transaction team and, despite having very little financial or transactional experience, was given a load of responsibility, which has increased in line with my experience over the years.
Belltown have continuously provided training both internal and external where I’ve requested it and have always made me feel that my development is important to the companies development – which I know is an experienced shared by many here. What is probably most important to me is that I feel Belltown trust me and my abilities, which was reflected when I moved to our onshore wind development team despite not having a technical background.
I joined Belltown in 2016 as the junior member of a finance team of three. After working for a big company, I was looking for an opportunity where I had more challenge, responsibility and could progress quickly. Being part of a small team allowed me to learn directly from the finance director and work closely with senior management, which had a huge positive impact on my career progression. The finance team also supported me through my chartered accountant training, whilst providing me as much exposure as possible to relevant experience. At first, I was taken to meetings to listen and learn, and by now I am trusted to deliver the financial services for all our UK investor portfolios.
Belltown did not just provide me a great environment to progress in my career, but also cares about its employee’s satisfaction and wellbeing. The company organised countless socials and knowledge share sessions. I tried many new sports, such as surfing, mountain biking, skiing, archery, travelled to many beautiful places both in the UK and abroad, and learnt some of the basics of engineering and company law.
Belltown is very flexible with its employees regarding remote working, which allowed me to see my family back in Budapest (Hungary) on a regular basis, and therefore have a healthy work life balance. It is rare to find a company that cares about career progression and both the physical and mental health of its employees. Therefore, I feel grateful to be part of the Belltown team.
I started with Belltown in March 2019, as an Asset Manager. Working for a small company, I have gained exposure to the wider renewables industry and have had the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with, the experienced team here at Belltown.
Having recently moved from Glasgow, Belltown’s regular socials have been a great way to get to know Bristol and meet new people. The team manage to create a great office environment and often manage to talk you into an ‘active’ lunch. Belltown’s senior staff are extremely approachable and continue to encourage and support my development within the renewables industry.
I joined Belltown back in March 2014 shortly before the company’s first solar and wind projects became operational. I had just graduated from the University of Bristol and was keen to get involved in a small, ambitious enterprise with similar ethics to my own. Working for such a dynamic company has given me the opportunity to explore and contribute towards different areas of the business, and get a fantastic overview of the renewables industry as a whole.
I started out assisting the operations team, before taking on my own projects as an Asset Manager, and I now oversee the operation and optimisation of a portfolio of wind, solar and hydro projects in my role as a Portfolio Manager. Belltown places great emphasis on creating an enjoyable and productive working environment, and is genuinely committed to employee development.

The vital role onshore wind has in tackling climate change is clear, but by collaborating with us you will also be contributing to more local environmental causes. Species protection funds, habitat creation, increasing knowledge and understanding through ecology surveys and flora and fauna management schemes are just some of the ways you can help enhance your local natural surroundings.
By their very nature, wind farms are mostly located in rural areas which otherwise often struggle to secure financial support or sources of funding. By working with us you can help your local communities receive guaranteed income for the operational life of the wind farm. Our Community Benefit Fund schemes have already helped build primary schools, repair ageing community centres, provide playgrounds and setup sports and social groups for both young and old.
Through our projects you can help provide funding for local school educational site visits and workshops. This allows future generations to learn about climate change and the important role of onshore wind. Help us inspire young minds.
